Two prominent Colorado Springs architects designed this Beaux-Arts Mediterranean Revival high school, dressing the three-story building in beige brick with creamy terracotta trim. A curvilinear parapet over the central, round-arched entry is echoed by the terracotta entry surround. This virtually unaltered building is enhanced by a front yard rose garden and landscaped grounds that flow westward into the grassy city park on Main Avenue.
