Aspen Interfaith Chapel of the Prince of Peace

-A A +A
1969, Henighan and Gale. 70 Meadowood Dr.

The first landmark to greet anyone driving into Aspen from Glenwood Springs is said to have been inspired by wayfarers' chapels in the Alps. Its shingled spire becomes a hood over the openings of the stone bell tower. A happy wedding of stone, wood, and glass, it features stained glass windows in abstract designs by Jean Jacques Duval.
