St. Joseph Catholic Church

-A A +A
1922, Bernard Noriega, builder. 359 Patterson St.

Stone blocks and bricks from two predecessor churches are combined in this unique structure, rising skyward to curvilinear parapets on the facade and bell tower. Brick trim on stone surfaces reverses the stone-trimmed brick that prevails in Colorado, where stone is considered fancy and brick ordinary.
