Old Elks Club (First National Bank)
Massive corner entry arches distinguish this Romanesque Revival gem, the handsomest building in town. Rough-faced sandstone gives way at the entrance to slender, polished granite half columns. Projections suggesting a square tower further emphasize the entry. Unfortunately someone has tried to enhance the soft natural glow of the local sandstone with purple paint.
