Quarters 1

-A A +A
1942

Quarters 1, the home of the commanding officer, is a duplex converted to a single-family home. With vinyl siding and a large glass vestibule on the front, the house is undistinguished.

Most of the housing for field-grade officers is two-story, hip-roofed duplexes, five bays wide, with hip-roofed entries. All of them have new siding, which is a dramatic change on a plain building.
