In a free Romanesque Revival style, this picturesque roadside chapel on a modified cruciform plan is built of massive boulders under steep-pitched roofs. On its rocky crag (“Upon this rock I will build my church”), which is incorporated into the structure, the chapel marks the entry road for St. Malo, a Catholic summer camp, mountain retreat, and conference center on 160 acres adjoining Rocky Mountain National Park.
