Golden Gilpin Mill

1880s–1920s. 1 mile north of Black Hawk on Colorado 119

Of Black Hawk's mighty mills, which made it the 1870s smelting capital of Colorado, this remnant is the sole survivor, near the Black Hawk terminus of the Gilpin County Tram, whose roadbed is visible on the west side of the highway.
