The Village at Kings Creek

-A A +A
2002–2004, Dan F. Sater. Shuttle Rd. and Patriots Way
  • The Village at King's Creek (W. Barksdale Maynard)

A local developer seeking to create a “beachy, Key West” feeling found Sater's firm (of Bonita Springs, Florida) on the Internet, where it markets home plans. This upscale community features closely spaced frame houses, and their complex massings, steep roofs, and traditional motifs, such as porches and cupolas, are used to lively effect. The development is one of many begun in the fast-growing west Rehoboth area after the completion of a sewer extension in 1995.
