Cartwright Hall

-A A +A
1976, Edward L. Barnes

A two-story brick-sheathed volume here plays off an exaggerated largeness of scale on the upper level against a narrow horizontal scale for the ground floor. This building provides an excellent example of Barnes's sparse but sophisticated minimalist approach to design.
