The Forum, the College Union

-A A +A
1971, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.

All three of these buildings are tasteful, well detailed, and well scaled (for the site) Modern buildings, as one would expect from this architectural firm. The SOM buildings play off brick walls against detailing (and structure) in steel, glass, and concrete. The Forum is of exposed concrete, countered by projecting groups of bays with metal and glass walls and roofs.
