Here we have the Collegiate Romanesque in brick with stone trim. The main building, which was built as a student dormitory, is three and a half stories high; over this tall mass of masonry is a high central tower with a segmented spired roof. Close by the main building is another dormitory building, Cotta House (now an apartment building). The designer of this 1922–1923 building looked to the seventeenth-century Queen Anne period in England for a source.
