One can't easily miss this more than seven-story version of a Bavarian half-timbered building. The earlier part of the building was a modest three-story section, but it is the gabled and mansard-roofed tower that really announces the building to motorists on the highways. One enters the lodge through a sumptuously planted forecourt, crosses a heavy timbered bridge, and eventually ends up within an appropriate banqueting hall. The rooms are decorated according to someone's idea of the bedrooms of a Bavarian house.
