Cottage

-A A +A
c. 1880. 528 Oakland Ave.

This Eastlake/Queen Anne cottage exhibits splendid Gothic Revival detail. Aggressive horizontality seems to be the theme of the one-and-a-half-story cottage, though much of the sawed and cutout wood detailing provides a counterpoint of verticality.
