Andersen House

-A A +A
1941, Ernest Andersen. 901 North Shore Dr.

Here we find that modernity reached the lakeshore in the Streamline Moderne Andersen dwelling. The curved entrance is especially well worked out, with a horizontal glass block window placed above the entrance. The architect, builder, and owner of the house was Ernest Andersen. In 1987–1988 the house was extensively enlarged in a Postmodernist manner, all very well carried out.
