Malek Theater

-A A +A
c. 1941. East side of 2nd Ave. N.E. between 1st St. E. and 2nd St. N.E.

A curved glass bay projects from a picture frame of tan, white, and black vitrolite; the marquee below sports a horizontal pattern of blue and white. All these bright surfaces spring from a respectable box sheathed in cut limestone.
