The low-pitched hipped roof and the stair bay on the side imply that a traditional sidehall Queen Anne dwelling was remodeled by someone affected by the Craftsman and Prairie styles, c. 1912. The mingling of these two styles has surprisingly resulted in a design that holds together very well.
