Robey's Service Station

-A A +A
c. 1924. South side of Iowa 204, west side of town, across from the park and its bandstand

A single gabled roof contains the station and the service pump area. The two front wooden posts are tapered toward the top and rest on high brick piers. The single-light double-hung windows are far out of scale with the building. Like a miniature, a small, sturdy chimney pops up from the center of the roof.
