Perhaps Kahn's most famous plant, this building has two major steel and glass structures: the Assembly Building, 402 × 2,262 feet in plan, and the Export Building, 122 × 242 feet in plan. Kahn utilized cantilevered bent steel beams, allowing the monitors to hang below the roof level and thus improve the lighting.
