Antique Shop (Hotel Abbay)
When B Street was one of Sparks's main roads and passenger trains stopped nearby, buildings such as this former hotel were commonplace. The simple building has a flat facade laid in Flemish bond, with red and black alternating bricks adding texture and color to the structure. The facade rises to a central pediment and end piers; the roofline between these elements is decorated with ornamental ironwork. Now an antique shop, this structure has been altered, as have numerous surviving old buildings along the street.
