Unlike the three other PWA projects Miles Miller designed in the Muddy and Virgin river valleys, the brick gymnasium in Overton has a simple, straightforward Classical Revival design. The symmetrical main facade on Thomas Avenue contains an arched entry embellished with four attached fluted Doric columns rising to a simplified classical entablature.
