Faller Furniture Store (Ditz and Mooney Hardware)

-A A +A
Ditz and Mooney Hardware
1917. 624 Main St.
  • (William E. Fischer, Jr.)

John Ditz, of Ditz and Mooney Hardware, rebuilt this store in 1917 after a fire. The storefront glazing rises the full three stories and extends across seven bays of the facade, creating an airy, light-filled building that serves as a perfect showroom for the furniture retailer currently leasing the space. Stone pilasters and a heavy dentiled cornice complete the facade.
