This building is a handsome mixture of Richardsonian details in the regional brick. On the side of the entrance tower, a richly carved datestone incorporates the year, 1889; an array of drafting tools; and the initials JAD for the architect, Dempwolf. The building has been extended with a Shingle Style overlay and is now the Kline Theater.
