One-Room School

-A A +A
1830. 1208 Waverly Rd.
  • (William E. Fischer, Jr.)

This charming Greek Revival building is like a child's sketch of a civic structure: Doric pilasters, a door with fanlight transom, arched windows, and a lunette set into a pedimented gable enliven the flush-sided front facade. For many years, the former school has been a house.
