Penn Security Bank (Mears Building)
By the 1890s, Scranton was as likely to take its architectural cues from Chicago as from New York City. Both this building and the nearby Brooks Building ( LK4) are in the brawny mode of H. H. Richardson's (demolished) Marshall Field's Building in Chicago.
