Captain Amazon Littlefield House

-A A +A
1888–1889, Daniel Dillon, Jr., carpenter. West side of Corn Neck Rd., 480 feet north of West Beach Rd.

A staggered cruciform-plan dwelling with a wraparound porch, the Littlefield House recalls designs found in late-nineteenth-century pattern books. Remarkably little altered, it shows the influence of external sources, increasingly prevalent in the late nineteenth century, on the island's domestic architecture.
