Courthouse Center for the Arts (Washington County Courthouse)
A granite building in polychromatic Richardsonian Romanesque, the courthouse is imposing but heavy-handed. Mid-twentieth-century renovations to the interior were removed in the late 1990s, when the building was thoughtfully rehabilitated by and for a local arts group.
