Openheimer-Montgomery Building

-A A +A
1894, John McDonald, builder; 1981 restoration, Shefelman and Nix. 105 W. 8th St.

This intriguing building takes advantage of the hills on which the central business district rests, stepping up away from Congress Avenue. The bay windows and rising street make the building similar to San Francisco's commercial and residential buildings of the late nineteenth century.
