One of a number of Giles's designs in town, this one is perhaps the finest, with its large round-arched pediment with the Faltin name in large letters placed above the two-story porch. The section at the corner with the pedimented gable was added by Giles in 1907, shading the sidewalk with a wall-mounted, curved corrugated-metal canopy instead of the decorated wooden porch of the earlier design.
