Despite modifications, this white wood cottage, which faces Aransas Bay next to looming condominiums, dates to Rockport's origin. It was built by a physician who owned one of the slaughterhouses and packing plants. It is a side-gabled house with a pedimented front porch sheltering a doorway framed by a transom and sidelights.
