This two-story I-house with its tall, narrow front portico was built for cattle rancher Robert Clark, a Pennsylvanian who came to Victoria in 1854 from Brownsville. Next door at 315 N. Main is a vernacular cottage with the distinctive double-pitched roof of Victoria.
