West Texas Veterans Administration Health Care System (Veterans Administration Hospital)

-A A +A
1947, Wyatt C. Hedrick. 300 W. Veterans Blvd.

Fort Worth architect Hedrick produced the most monumental building in Big Spring. The Veterans Administration Hospital rises in stages to eight stories in a symmetrical, setback composition sited to face the intersection of W. Marcy Drive and Gregg Street with a maximum of size and modernist authority.
