Green House

-A A +A
c. 1840. 408 Hanover St.

Fluted, giant-order Greek Doric columns, in place before 1862, rest on square plinths and are raised up on a high basement story, giving what is really a three-bay structure great presence on the street. One-story wings to each side add to the sense of height.
