Fredericksburg United Methodist Church

-A A +A
1879–1882. 300 Hanover St.

Although the church is big and burly red brick Gothic Revival on the outside, the interior is surprisingly diminutive and more horizontal than vertical. Eastlake trusses support the roof over the nave. Perhaps because of the white color, the roof seems to press down on the interior space.
