Unitarian Church of Arlington

-A A +A
1964, Charles M. Goodman. 4444 Arlington Blvd. (near the southwest corner of Arlington Blvd. and George Mason Dr.)
  • Unitarian Church of Arlington (Bill Sublette)

Goodman's design stresses structural features with its strong piers and dominant flat roof plane. The interior, essentially a great meeting room with high walls and narrow clerestory, shows the influence of Goodman's Chicago background and of Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple.
