Tillett was apparently in the building trades, but although he designed this structure, John Cannon constructed it. One of the more architecturally conscious buildings in downtown Manassas, the building is heavily rusticated. The upper-floor arcades of this brick structure have been enclosed; the Masonic emblem remains in the parapet.
