James Sonner House

-A A +A
1872, James Sonner. 187 High St.

Sonner was a local building contractor and his fluency in a number of architectural styles and details is evident here. The frame house has a wooden porch with broad segmental-arched brackets, a prominent cornice with paired brackets, Gothic tracery in the attic window, and diamond-patterned tracery in the sidelights of the entrance.
