1907. 1500 Pleasant Ave. (northeast corner of Pleasant Ave. and Locust St.)

Meant to impress, this large, yellow brick Colonial Revival mansion next door to the Tarr House is fronted by a giant-order Corinthian portico. Within the portico's capacious shelter, elongated consoles support a second-floor balcony.
