Mount Bethel Primitive Baptist Church

Mid-19th century. Northwest side of Hampshire County 5, immediately south of the intersection with Hampshire County 5/4 (Three Churches Hollow Rd.)

Built on the site of a c. 1792 log church that served both Baptists and Presbyterians, this rectangular frame building with a single entrance in its gable end stretches four bays in length. The cemetery dates from the late eighteenth century and contains a number of early sandstone markers.
