Conrad Kraft House

-A A +A
c. 1873. 1684 National Rd.

A refreshing tonic for the sometimes bombastic mansions along National Road, this diminutive house, set well below the present street level, was built several years before streetcars made the pike easily accessible. A single-story, five-bay brick cottage, it makes up with Italianate gingerbread for what it lacks in size.
