Quihi (Medina County)

-A A +A

The rural settlement of Quihi was founded by Henri Castro in 1845, but was subjected to raids by Indians into the 1870s, which impeded its growth. The early settlers came from Castroville. Quihi remains a small ranching and agricultural community.
