A Gothic Revival one-and-a-half-story brick cottage has been transformed into a major structure by the inclusion of a romantic circular tower with a high concave spired roof. The upper windows of the tower, which are arched, narrow, and quite long, add to its illusion of height and size. Some additions and changes have occurred, including a wide Colonial Revival porch (c. 1900) placed across the front of the building.
