From its high, hilltop location, this double-towered stone church looks down on what was once the river town of Lyons. The pointed-arched windows of this Gothic Revival church are finely cut into the walls of beautifully dressed light-colored limestone. A rosette window appears in the east gable. The twin belfry towers support thin spires above; the north one is 136 feet high, the south one 30 feet higher.
