This is a wonderful variation on the theme of a French Second Empire cottage. To the side of the entrance is a wide bay; above, in the mansard roof, the bay emerges along with dormers as a pavilion tower. The dormers in the tower have curved tops and pronounced keystones; those over the body of the house are left plain.
