Steele seems to have decided in this instance to look back to a more traditional version of the Prairie style. The second and third floors of this building have piers with terracotta capitals reminiscent of the work of George Elmslie. They support a thin, continuous terracotta lintel. The center of the brick parapet is raised in a low-pitched gable containing the company's name.
