The two-story Craftsman brick-sheathed dwelling serves as a quiet, retiring backdrop to a theatrical two-story stucco porch. On the first floor the glassed-in porch has primitive stubby columns in rough-cast stucco; on the second floor (and continuing up into the gable) is an intricate pattern of half-timbering worked around the horizontal groups of casement windows. The asphalt shingles have been wrapped around both the roof eaves and the gables.
