Beaux-Arts classicism inspired the remodeling scheme for the bank in 1935. Minneapolis specialists in bank design drafted the plans. Colossal limestone Ionic columns in antis support the portico, which is filled with large metal-frame windows separated by marble spandrels. A cornice supported with consoles is beneath the paneled parapet.
