Bunkhouse (Barn)
1930s, U.S. Forest Service and Civilian Conservation Corps; moved 1948–1949
The CCC erected this building (USFS Plan R-4 #13-A) as a two-horse barn near Paradise Valley. The USFS moved it to the station for use as a bunkhouse, removing the horse stalls and adding a bathroom and kitchen counter. The building retains many of its original windows, doors, and interior wood paneling. Seasonal USFS employees sleep here from May to October.
