Designed by a local architect, the Humphrey House is a rare example of a Mission Revival residence in Reno. It combines such standard Mission Revival elements as stuccoed walls, curved roof parapets outlined by raised bands, and porches supported by squat paired columns. Other features include oriel windows resting on large carved brackets and small wood balconies with turned balustrades. The Humphrey family resided in the house until the 1960s, after which it was used as retail space. It is now in run-down condition.
