Library (West Crook Street School)

-A A +A
West Crook Street School
1908. Northeast corner of W. Crook Ave. and 5th St.

This one-story stone building is a box with a central arched entrance projecting from the center of the facade. Stone quoins, windowsills, and lintels relieve the rough stone surface. A squat stone arch resting on low stone piers creates an entry under the gable roof of the entrance. In addition to functioning as a school, the building has been a garage and is now a library.
