Main Street (NV 377)
Driving into Manhattan from the east, the visitor passes numerous ruined stone and woodframe buildings. The most impressive is the simple but solid former Nye and Ormsby County Bank (c. 1906–1907), a one-story, coursed ashlar structure with a main entrance set into the corner facing the once-busy intersection of Main and 1st streets. Farther along the street stand a number of abandoned wood-frame buildings with false fronts, covered by a variety of materials, including clapboards and sheets of corrugated metal.
